Windows 10 Home to Pro Upgrade — installation and licence setup 1. Keep this licence key private. Confirm the edition, device/user/core entitlement and supported operating system on your order before installing. Back up important files first. 2. Start with an eligible, activated Windows 10 Home installation. This product changes the edition; it is not a separate full Windows licence. 3. Open Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Change product key. Enter the supplied upgrade key and follow the prompts. Restart when requested. 4. After restart, check that Activation reports the correct Pro edition. If the edition cannot be upgraded, contact us before reinstalling. 5. Windows 10 standard support ended on 14 October 2025.
